Roaster's Notes: Discovered on our origin trip to Antioquia in January 2020, this microlot represents some of the brilliant coffee produced in the Urrao region. Super sweet, peachy, blackcurrant, orange notes. It’s a cracker!

Garage founders Luke & Alice met Pablo Emilio Montoya in January 2020 when they visited Finca la Esperanza.
Pablo is a crucial member of the community in Pavón and was the originator of the Grupo Pavón collective of specialty coffee producers. He is one of the main leaders of the group and has long been one of the strongest voices in insisting on a specialty coffee focus as a means of attaining sustainability. Pablo and his neighbours were heavily inspired by Jose Arcadio of Finca la Falda, two-time winner of Cup of Excellence, also from Urrao.
His efforts have helped the group increase quality and access the speciality coffee market, in turn earning more for their delicious crops!
