 Cajamarca, Jaén
Altitude: 2000 metres

Notes: Lucía Muñoz Guevara was born in Jaén and comes from a family of 9. She is 49 years old and has 6 children. Her finca is called Los Cedros because she sowed many seeds of the Cedar tree on her land. Her older sister María Ester and her son-in-law César Sanpertegui help her out on the Farm. Most of her kids are at college and, one is studying to be a pharmacist and the other is training to be a cupper at the cooperative.

She inherited the Farm from her father, who gave her 3 hectares, 1.5 of which are dedicated to coffee. She loves coffee and drinks it daily. She also cultivates fruit and vegetables and sells them on the local market.

Lucía has been a member of Sol & Café since 2010 and is part of the Santa María association, 2 hours drive from the city of Jaén. During this time she has shown himself to be a very capable producer committed to producing quality coffee. She is always looking at ways to innovate and she continues to produce some of the best coffee in the region.
