C Price + Changes to Loyalty Rewards.

 

The recent surge in the global “C price”, the benchmark for coffee trading, has had a significant impact on specialty coffee roasters like us.  

Whilst we pay premiums for ethically sourced, fully traceable, high-quality beans, those prices are still tied to the global market. As the C price climbs, so do our costs, from green coffee to transport and production, making it more challenging to absorb those increases. 

The sustainability, equitability, and quality of the coffee we roast is non-negotiable.  Therefore, we do need to make changes to how Garage operates to keep things ticking over.    

We truly love giving back to you through our loyalty program, and we want to keep it going strong for the long run. 

 

From 01.08.25, we’re making a small change to the number of points needed for rewards: 

  • 30 points (up from 25) for a free hot drink  

  • 125 points (up from 100) for a free bag of Maypole. 

 

These new thresholds help us stay true to our values and keep the loyalty perks going. We hope you understand, and we’re so grateful to have you with us.
