Guayaba is a regional blend from the municipality of Oporapa in Huila, Colombia, produced by a small group of farmers working with Minga. Rather than a single producer, this lot brings together coffees from growers including José Elmer & Luz Mar and Hervey & Rocío Cuellar, who have embraced natural processing to create a fruit-forward profile while earning higher returns for their harvests.
Grown between 1,600–1,800 metres above sea level on the fertile volcanic soils of the Colombian Massif Biosphere, the coffee is dried as a classic natural—without extended fermentation—resulting in a clean, sweet and approachable cup that showcases the best of Huila's pioneering specialty coffee community.
